How to round a number to the tenth, hundredth, thousandth: 4 examples and their solutions.

0.00008: hundred-thousandth

See the number on the right side of the 1.

It's 8.

This 8 is [greater than or equal to 5].

Then add 1 to the hundredth number 1:

1 + 1 = 2.

So write 2.72.

Drop the numbers on the right side of the hundredth: 828... .

So 2.72 is the answer.
