## Formula

A = πr^{2}⋅[θ/360]

A: Area of a sector

r: Radius

θ: Central angle (in degrees)

πr^{2} is the area of the whole circle.

θ/360 is the ratio of sector/circle.

## Exampler = 6, θ = 120º, A = ?

θ = 120º

A = π⋅6^{2}⋅[120/360]

π⋅6^{2} = 36π

120/360 = 1/3

36⋅[1/3] = 12

So 12π is the answer.
